Your Procedure

Depending on the type of surgery and other factors, you may walk into the operating room and anesthesia will be administered there. An Anesthesiologist or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists administer a full line of anesthesia services for patients of all ages. If you have questions about Anesthesia please contact us at (402) 758-5120 to speak with our Anesthesia providers or review information on this website: Lifeline to Modern Medicine to help provide more insight and answers questions about Anesthesia care.

The length of time you will spend in the operating room will depend upon the type of surgical procedure. Ask your physician in advance how long your surgery is anticipated to last. If your child is having surgery, feel free to bring a favorite stuffed toy or security blanket for added assurance. A parent or guardian must remain in the surgery center throughout the minor child’s stay.
